Nan Worsowicz

Nan Worsowicz works with Program Outreach at the Monique Burr Foundation for Children. She spent 36 years working in the public school system, teaching students with disabilities in both elementary and middle school, and working as a school counselor at middle and high school. She recently retired as the Supervisor of School Counseling for Duval County Public Schools where she was responsible for supporting school counselors at all levels to develop comprehensive programs to assist students and families. Child abuse prevention and advocacy for children and families are topics near and dear to her heart.

Nan received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and her Master’s from the University of North Florida. She has been married to her husband Tim for almost 40 years and they have two grown children, Katie and Kevin, and two young grandchildren.
